We are seeking outstanding individuals to join our team as Bi-Lingual Test Scorers
COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Pearson is the worldwide global leader in technology and assessment for education. Evaluation Systems group of Pearson, under contract with the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) located near the ARCO Arena, is seeking part-time bi-lingual scorers for our Scoring Department. Bi-lingual applicants in the following languages are encouraged to apply: Portuguese, Khmer, Hmong, Hebrew, or Arabic.
JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Individuals review and assign test scores for exams taken by individuals seeking certification to teach a foreign language in K-12 grade classrooms. Exams are scored 2-4 times per year from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates must have:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (any major acceptable)
• Fluency in specific language – must read, write and speak in English and Arabic, Hebrew, Hmong, Khmer, or Portuguese.
• At least one year prior teaching experience (any subject acceptable)
WAGES & BENEFITS
$15.75 per hour; free catered lunch and parking are provided.
