Key Duties:
- Responsible for configuration management of CAD data, ensuring expedient revision accuracy through ECO process using PDM Works and Intuitive ERP
- Responsible for tracking in-house CAD software licensing, service packs, and upgrades, including add-in packages
- Responsible for tracking in-house CAD software licensing, service packs, and upgrades, including add-in packages
- Interface with manufacturing and outside vendors providing CAD models and drawings
- Responsible for configuration management of CAD data, ensuring expedient revision accuracy through ECO process using PDM Works and Intuitive ERP.
- Create and maintain production drawings with engineering oversight
- Review drawings and supervise junior level modelers / draftsmen
- Responsible for tracking in-house CAD software licensing, service packs, and upgrades, including add-in packages
- Help resolve CAD issues
Skill Requirements:
- 3+ years PDM system administration experience and CAD modeling/drafting
- Experience managing engineering change processes in ERP systems (Intuitive ERP a plus)
- Some related education / training desirable with experience using SolidWorks, including sheet metal, and PDMWorks
- Strong 3D modeling skills
- Working knowledge of ASME Y-14.5 / GD&T, BOM and ECO processes
- Very strong attention to detail
