Purpose of Position:
The Direct Sales Representative is an integral part of Wave Broadband’s success by creating and executing Direct Sales activities, which are consistent with Wave’s company-wide objectives. The successful candidate will be focused on gaining new subscribers and upgrading existing customers through door-to-door sales activities. Earn $1,000.00 to $2,000.00 per week selling the fastest, most reliable High Speed Internet and Unlimited Phone service at a fraction of what the competition is charging. Wave Broadband is obsessed with exceeding our customer’s expectations and beats the competition with more choice, better value and superior Customer Service. This rewarding, temporary position with Wave Broadband includes a base salary, flexible work schedule and all the tools you need to be successful.
Previous door-to-door sales experience selling Cable TV, High Speed Internet and Phone services is preferred but not necessary. We will train the right person. Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will be organized, have reliable transportation and be able to explain company’s services and billing practices. We seek to meet our customers on their schedule. Evening and weekend work is required and rewarded.
This lucrative position employs Sales tactics that include contacting new residents and established residents in neighborhood sweeps to introduce new and advanced services. The successful candidate will provide instant customer satisfaction by activating/installing cable and internet services where appropriate. In order to make direct contact with prospects, some evening and/or weekend work is required. The Direct Sales Representative will need to have a genuine concern for the customer.

Responsibilities:
Communicate current promotions, packages and offers to all potential customers.
Track sales progress and document productivity on sales forms/ reports as provided by the company.
Meets and exceeds budgeted sales targets.
Accurately reports all connects and disconnects to designated person.
Ensures all required paperwork is legible, complete and submitted in a timely manner.
Seeks opportunities with customers to enhance the company’s image. Maintains a neat appearance, shows respect and respects the customer’s property.
Is proficient in interacting with customers in a polite, professional manner. Maintains an understanding and is able to effectively communicate system prices, channels, services and packages to customers and potential customers.
Contacts all leads assigned by the company in addition to neighborhood sweeps within an assigned territory.
Understands and is proficient in the proper installation of Modems and Digital converters.
Understands and follows all company safety standards and practices. Understands and follows accident reporting procedures. Understands and follows applicable OSHA and National Electric Safety Code rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Basic knowledge and aptitude of Cable Television Direct Sales or other face to face sales experience in a retail sales position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
