School Innovations & Advocacy (SI&A) is California’s most respected and most comprehensive back-office solution provider and legislative advocate for education. With 100+ employees SI&A provides consulting, advocacy and technology solutions for School Districts and County Offices of Education all over California.
SI&A is looking for a senior developer to help build its next generation of industry-leading applications utilizing .Net 4, the latest version of the platform. You will be working in a dynamic team environment utilizing Visual Studio 2010 and Microsoft’s latest technologies. This is a Full-Time, Non-exempt position located in our Rancho Cordova office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, create and maintain applications using C#, Visual Studio 2010, and .Net 4
- Participate in collaborative design sessions with fellow development team members
- Remain current on relevant technologies and development practices
Qualifications:
-5+ years Experience with .NET
-Recent experience with .NET 3.0 or above
-Experience with .NET 4 is a plus
-Experience with .NET entity framework
-Strong SQL and OOA/OOP skills.
-Ability to quickly integrate new technologies.
-Ability to multi-task and take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment
-Experience with data mining and data analysis tools a big plus
-Experience with MS reporting services a plus
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Must be a team player
